Small Groups, Fire Pits, and Jesus
Feb 09, 2026
Every Monday night, a group of women gathers on my patio. We pull our chairs into a loose circle around the firepit, wrap our hands around warm mugs of tea, and settle in. 🫖
Some weeks, we belly laugh until our sides hurt. Other weeks, we speak hard things out loud and let them rest safely in the circle. We encourage one another, pray for one another, and gently remind each other—again and again—that we don’t have to carry life alone. 🙏
It’s one of the holiest spaces of my week.
There’s something deeply Jesus-shaped about sitting in a circle and sharing life. No stage. No spotlight. Just presence, warmth, and truth spoken with love. 🫶
Jesus does so much of His forming work this way—through shared stories, honest questions, and people who show up consistently. Faith grows as we lean in together, helping one another notice where God is at work even in the middle of life’s challenges. 🌱
